8th Boys Basketball Falls to Peru

The Maconaquah 8th grade boys’ basketball team fell to 2-1 last night with a loss against Peru 27-36.   Nolan Kelly and Nate Harding each contributed 11 pts in the loss.   Kelly led the Braves in rebounding with 5.  The Braves next game is scheduled for Saturday, December 3rd at Tippecanoe Valley.

6th Grade Braves won tonight vs Logansport Columbia. Final score of 46-20, the Braves were lead offensively by Bauer Maple with 19 points, Zach Sparks 18, and Zach Humbert 7. 7th Grade Boys Basketball Fall to the Apaches

Maconaquah 7th Grade Boys Basketball dropped there first game of the season at Wabash 36-28. They were lead in scoring by Hayden Maiben with 16, Gavin Love 6, Brayden Betzner 2, Mason Barnes 2 and Walker Hays 2. The Braves will next be in action on November 29th at 6pm at home vs Northwestern.

The 8th grade Maconaquah boys’ basketball team defeated Wabash last night 35-34.  Three Braves scored in double figures with Nolan Kelly, Corbin Middlekauff and Preston Jenkins each scoring 10 pts.  Middlekauff led the way with 8 rebounds while Nolan Kelly and Graham Stoll each pulled down 4 boards.  The Braves next game is on November

Middle School Boys Basketball Sign Up & First Practice

Students interested in trying out for Maconaquah Middle School’s Boys Basketball Team should sign up on the sheets posted outside of the main office on Monday and Tuesday. Tryouts will be Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at the following times: 6th Grade 6:30-8 PM, 7th Grade 6:30-8 PM, 8th 5-6:30 PM.
