The Lady Braves walked out of historic Case Arena in Frankfort with a Sectional Basketball win, for the second straight night, a 58-54 victory over Western. After winning against the Lady Panthers for the first time in 10 meetings, Mac (11-12) have now won 3 straight games for the first time since 2008, have won 5 out of 6, 9 of their last 14, and move to the Sectional Championship game for the first time since 2002. Lilly Maple scored 17 of her 24 points in the first half and Mckenna Wilson, Monica Moore, and Alex Merritt combined to hit 5 free throws in the 4th quarter to secure the 4 point win. The Braves jumped to a 11-3 lead before Western used a 20-8 run to take their biggest lead of 4 early in the 2nd, which Mac countered with a 17-3 run and a 10 point halftime lead. The lead moved to 13 in the 3rd before Western clawed it’s way back to trail by 1 in the last minute as Mac hit just enough free throws to advance. Stat leaders for the Lady Braves –
