Maconaquah High School vs Wabash High School
149 26

The girls met with the Wabash Apaches on Monday night. What a good night as the girls continue to amaze me with their drive to take themselves to new levels. Alaina Simmons placed 1st in the 200 free followed by Hannah Montgomery getting a PR in the event. Annie Isenburg placed 4th. In the IM Erika Baber, Janet Johnston, and Nevis Sebastian placed 1,2,3. The 50 free was next with Anna Borden another round of 1,2, 3. In diving, Brooke Borden placed 1st followed by Rachel Little placing 3rd with a PR then Lilly Pohlman in 4th. In the 100 Butterfly, another 1,2,3 from Baber, Shrock, and Nethercutt. The 100 freestyle was more of the same with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd from Teegardin, Borden, and Montgomery. Alaina Simmons, Riley Jones, and Abby Heath swam in the 500 also placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Annie Isenburg tried her hand at the 100 backstroke and PR’d and placed 3rd. Abby Shrock placed 1st and Nevis Sebastian placed 2nd in that race. In the breaststroke, Janet Johnston placed 1st, Abby Heath had a PR placing 2nd and Riley Jones placed 4th. The Golden Goggle goes to Hannah Montgomery for her outstanding best time in the 100 free, dropping 2 seconds, and getting a best time in the 200 free. She continues to work hard in practice and it shows with the drop in her times tonight.
