The girls were excited to swim tonight starting the evening earning a 1st place in the 200 medley relay (Jones, Winegardner, Sebastian, Teegardin). Hannah Montgomery and Laci Winegardner placed 1st and 2nd in the 200 free along with PR’s. In the 200 IM, Nevy Sebastian PR’d placing 1st with Annie Isenburg placing 2nd. Kaylinn Teegardin placed 1st in the 50 free with Thea Tyra placing 3rd. In diving, Brionna Jernagan placed 1st and shattered her PR by over 60 points! Mackenzie Nord placed 3rd with Lillian Seymoure placing 3rd also earning a PR. Nevy Sebastian placed 1st in the 100 fly and Annie Isenburg placing 3rd. The 100 free was a sweep with Teegardin, Tyra, and Jordan placing 1,2,3. In the 500, Hannah Montgomery and Lydia Jones placed 1st and 2nd. Winegardner, Tyra, Isenburg, Montgomery placed 1st in the 200 free relay. Lydia Jones placed 1st in the 100 backstroke and Abby Jordan placing 3rd. Laci Winegardner placed 2nd in the 100 breaststroke with Brionna Jernagan placing 4th. The 400 free relay teams placed 1st and 2nd to finish out the evening. Two Golden Goggles were handed out tonight; one going to Brionna Jernagan for her amazing diving and her breaststroke! She has worked very hard this season and it does not go unnoticed. Thea Tyra earned the 2nd Golden Goggle for earning 2 PR’s for the night. Thea has been improving so much this season and continues to improve on her times! I’m very proud of both girls!
