The Braves lost to the Manchester Squires in a TRC matchup 13-6 in 7 innings. The Braves started the game off quick with 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning, but couldn’t get anything going after that as Manchester rattled off 11 unanswered runs. The Braves then scored 1 in the 6th and got a 3 run rally in the 7th, but could not get any closer to the final 13-6 deficit. The Braves offensively were lead by Carra Wolf who was 3-4 with 2 singles, a solo homerun, and 2 RBIs. Holly Morris was 2-2 with 2 doubles and 2 walks. Shelby Spence was 1-4 with a RBI single. Lexie Dibattiste was 1-4 with a RBI single. Mikaylie Whybrew was 1-4 with a single. Josie Pyke was 1-4 with a single. And rounding out the offense was Paige Swihart who was 1-3 with a single. Savanna Miracle got the start in the circle pitching 4 innings giving up 5 earned runs on 10 hits and 2 walks. Carra Wolf relieved Miracle and pitched 3 innings giving up no earned runs on 2 hits, 5 walks, and 2 strikeouts. The Braves are now 5-13 on the season and move to 1-6 in the TRC. They travel to Frontier Friday for a double header with the first pitch set for 5:30.
