The Maconaquah Lady Braves finished in third place at the IHSAA Regional meet in Logansport, thereby qualifying to compete in the semistate meet at New Prairie next week. Defeating the team that won sectional the week before (Winamac), Maconaquah ran extremely well today, led by Abby Jordan (7th, 20:10) and Karli Miller (12th, 20:28), who both received honors for finishing in the top 20. Lauren Driscoll (23rd, 21:00), Abby Heath (44th, 22:22), Rachel Eby (53rd, 22:58), Lauryn Merritt (69th, 23:54), and Kaitlyn Nice (80th, 25:04) also had strong performances today.

The Lady Braves will compete next Saturday at the IHSAA semistate meet at New Prairie. Gun time for the girls is 10:30 AM Central time.

Well done, Lady Braves!
