The Maconaquah Lady Braves 8th graders traveled to country rival Peru for our season opener and came away with the win 39-10.

The girls played a great game as a team and everyone contributed valuable minutes to get the win.

Scoring for the Braves were Bailey Carson – 10, Delaney Truax – 8, Hallie Maiben – 6, Sydney Barnes – 4, Araya Johnson – 4, Miranda Stoll – 3, Shae Powell – 2, and Naomi Sinnamon – 2.

The Lady Braves will host Northfield on January 21st.
