The Braves traveled to Manchester for TRC matchup and came up victorious 7-6. The Squires jumped out to a 1-0 lead at the end of the 1st but the Braves battled back scoring two of their own in the top of the 2nd on a Josie Pyke 2 run home run to push the score to 2-1. Manchester then took the lead back in the bottom of the 3rd to push the score to 3-2. After a scoreless 4th inning the Braves would then break through scoring 5 runs on 5 hits and batting through the lineup to push the score to 7-3. From there Manchester would score 2 in the 6th and use a home run to pull the game to 1 run in the bottom of the 7th with one out but Carra Wolf used a ground out and fly out to end the Squires threat and the game. In the circle, Carra Wolf earned a win throwing all 7 innings giving up 5 earned runs on 3 walks, 8 hits, and 7 strikeouts. Every Brave in the lineup recorded a hit tonight, but leading the Braves offense was Josie Pyke who was 2-3 with a single, walk, 2 run home run, run scored, and 2 RBIs. Kaelynn Meyer was 2-4 with 2 singles, a run scored, and an RBI. Carra Wolf was 1-4 with a single and an RBI. Lilly Maple was 1-3 with a single and an RBI. Aubree Mouser was 1-3 with a single, walk, and run scored. Mackenzie Butler was 1-3 with a single, walk, and run scored. Kayliana Williams was 1-4 with a single and a run scored. Andrea Selleck was 1-3 with a single and a walk. Rounding out the Braves offense was Tayilor Serrano who was 1-3 with a single and a walk. The Braves move to 11-5 on the year and 5-2 in the Three Rivers Conference. The Braves will travel to Pioneer tomorrow to play the #1 ranked Lady Panthers in a non-conference matchup with the first pitch at 7:00.
