Topping the Podium on the day was Trent Burns as the 152lb Champion beating fellow Brave Aaron McKinley in the finals to take home top honors. Making the finals but coming up just short of the top of the podium was Blake Kinney 106 and Billy Miles 132. One match short of the finals but battling back to 3rd was Alex Ringeisen 285 and Carter Little 170 in his first wrestling match ever. Battling hard after 2 injured shortened seasons was Colin Deckard 138 finishing in 4th place. Brayden Bockover worked hard all day and had the bruises to prove it earned his 6th place finish. Also wrestling well but coming up just short of the podium was Michael Tate 120, Jacob Rush 126, Jonah Hollars 138, Dalton Farnell 145, Kenny Musselman 160, Domenick Vaughn 170, Lane Wagner 182, Moises Medina 285.The Battling Braves would also like to thank all parents that provide food for the Saturday tournament. The Braves are back in action Tuesday night 6:30 at home under the lights against the Eagles of Oak Hill. It is student night so any high school student gets in free with their ID.
