The boys were pumped for a conference opponent last night. They knew that with a good showing we should be the favorite to win our conference meet. They showed up in a big way. There were several close races that came down to the last few yards. Dawson Thompson had two great backstroke races in the Medley Relay and 100 Backstroke. Nolyn Tubb dropped .6 in the 100 free going 52.09. Bryant Teegardin continues to drop time every meet. Richie Leary gets the Golden Goggle Award. He had 3 out of 4 best times and probably would have had 4, but I told him to take it easy in the 100 Butterfly so he could save it for the 200 Free Relay. Richie had a best Fly split in the Medley Relay, dropped 1.5 seconds in the 200 IM, and had a best split in the 200 Free Relay. The boys showed how complete of a team we are. We have the speed to win events, but we also have a lot of depth.
