The team controlled the game from the beginning. Jaeden Bailey scored first off a corner kick by Bryant Teegardin. Zach Sparks next scored off a great assist from Kyler Hanson. The third goal of the first half came from a Richie Leary header. The team picked up in the 2nd half right where they left off from the first. Ethan Zeizer drew a foul in the penalty box on a great run and Elijiah Alvarado put the PK shot in the bottom corner for the score. Bryant Teegardin notched the next goal with a solo run and smashed the shot into the upper right corner of the net. Jaeden Bailey scored his 2nd goal after beating the left side of the defense and putting a rocket above the goalies head. The goalie got a piece of it, but not enough to stop it from crossing the goal line.
This win puts the team 6-1 on the season and on a 5-0 streak of all away games. The Braves have a short turn around as they play again tomorrow, Thursday Sept 17th at home against Mississinewa.
