In our 4th of 5 straight away games, the team improved to 2-0 in TRC and 5-1 on the season. Wabash played a physical brand of soccer, but our front line of Zac Sparks, Bryant Teegardin and Isiaac Lorenz were visibly faster than their defense. The offense was able to continually put pressure in the first half with Isiaac Lorenz’s goal off a fantastic Bryant Teegardin assist. Shortly into the 2nd half, Bryant scored the Braves 2nd goal with an assist from a Zach Sparks touched ball.
Wabash fought back and scored their only goal in the middle of the 2nd half, but the defense held the rest of the way.
Maconaquah’s next game is on Wed at Tri-Central.
