Boys soccer traveled to Delphi and came home with the 4th win of the season. In the 3rd of 5 straight away games, the team was not really threatened by the Delphi attack. Elijiah Alvarado, Nolan Jones, Tyler Stapleton and Kyler Hanson protected Trace Armstrong in the goal from the majority of the Delphi attempts, and the ones that made it past- Trace handled perfectly. Offensively, the Braves pressure wore down the defense. Bryant Teegardin started the Mac scoring from an assist from Jaeden Bailey. Zach Sparks finished the scoring with two solo scores. Zach also leads the team in penalty kicks awarded as he collected another. Unfortunately, the attempt was just wide left. Overall, the team is improving in the offensive possessions and passing, and the defense is stingy with opposing goals.
The teams next game is Saturday at TRC rival Wabash. This game will be pivotal for our TRC hopes. Go Braves!
