Boys Varsity Track · Boys Track on the Right Path

It’s early on in the season and the we are seeing significant improvements. We have a great bunch of character driven, hard working, positive young men working more as a team. Almost every thrower saw PRs in the discus with Jade Chadwell (2nd, 3rd shot) leading the way adding 16ft, Wyatt Wood 14ft, Jacob Sayger 9ft, Aaron Ringeisin 5ft, and John Casey Pebley 2ft along with a 4ft improvement in shot. A big congrats also goes out to Cole Bretzman (2nd) in long jump adding an additional 4 feet to his last best attempt. He also set PRs in the 110 hurdles and high jump. His teammates Bryant Teegardin (3rd) and Isaac Lorenz (2nd in high jump) also ran to PRs in the 110s. Jaden Judson improved his mile time by 19 seconds while Isaiah Wittenberg improved his two mile (1st) time by 3 seconds and repeated his sub-5 minute mile (1st) time. Cory Bockover (1st) and Brayden Betzner (2nd) both saw 3 inch improvements. Nolan Kelly had PRs in the 200 (1st) and 100 (1st) while also winning the 400. The 4×800 team of Kelly, Wittenberg, Ethan Zeizer, and Ryan Ousley earned a 6 second improvement together. Others gaining improvements were Richie Leary, Grant Anderson, Andrew Ramos, and Quinn Richard.

Congrats to our seniors for a job well done on senior night but we aren’t even close to being finished: Andrew Ramos, Bryant Teegardin, Cole Bretzman, Jade Chadwell, Nolan Kelly, Richie Leary, Chase Potter, Wesley Warren, and Austin Straub. Thank you all for your contributions to the boys track program.

Our next meet is Thursday, April 15th @ Pioneer with a 5:30 start time.
