We had a great showing by our boys throughout the evening with numerous PRs. We are performing well and hoping to continue on this journey heading into conference and sectionals.
Discus PR Paxton Kintner 153′. Furthest toss in 5 years by a young man in our program. 13′ away from the school record. Hard work pays off.
800M PR Chance Hagan 2:08. Glad to see him where he left off.
400M Nolan Kelly. Running very consistent in 52s and 53s all season.
4×800 PR 8:50. Best time in 3 years. Chance Hagan, Nolan Kelly, Sam Bourne, and Hayden Maiben. Better times to come.
Placing 2nd in the 800m was Sam Bourne, who also finished 4th in the 1600m. Sam was also part of the 4×4 team that PRd and finished 2nd in the meet along with Chance Hagan, Nolan Kelly, and Corbin Middlekauff. Adam Bowman finished 2nd in the shot followed by Kintner in 5th. Briaden Walton placed 2nd in the pole vault with Corbin Middlekauff PRing at 11′ 6 to take 4th and Cory Bockover placing 6th with a PR of 10′, a 1 1/2 foot improvement, Middlekauff took 3rd in the high jump alongside Bryce Ward who leaped into 2nd, Garrett Spohn PRd to take 8th place in the discus, Porter Hunt PRd by 22 sec in the 3200 to finish 8th, Zach Bullock and Bryson Walton took 6th and 7th respectfully in the 110m Hurdles, Bullock also took 8th in the 300M Hurdles as his teammate Bryant Teegardin has a .5 sec PR to finish 5th, Bullock had an 8th place in the long jump with fellow jumpers Hagan, 4th, and Middlekauff, 3rd, and rounding out the evening our 4×100 relay took 6th consisting of Braiden Walton, Bryson Walton, Greg Friend, and Zach Bullock.
Others PRing but not scoring in the meet were Hayden Maiben in the 1600 and his 800 split in the 4×8, Richard Reimer in the 1600 as well, Aaron Nice in the 400m, Nathanel Myers in the 800m, and Ward in the 200m.
