Meet Recap

The Maconaquah girls cross country team participated in the New Prairie semistate meet on Saturday, finishing in 17th place out of 20 qualifying teams. Madison Winegardner finished in 18th place overall and qualified for the state meet, breaking her own school record again in the process by finishing in 19:08. Other runners for the Lady Braves included Karli Miller (74th, 20:26), Haley Wimmer (116th, 21:18), Haley Salinas (147th, 22:06), Bailey Hays (150th, 22:10), Betsy Powell (178th, 24:59) and Abby Bourne (180th, 25:44).
Madison will run on the Lavern Gibson championship course in Terre Haute next Saturday, October 28th. Start time is 1:45 PM. Good luck, Madison!
