Meet Recap

The Maconaquah Lady Braves competed in the 50th Annual New Prairie Cross Country Invitational, running in the AA (medium school) race and finishing in 6th out of 23 complete teams. Madison Winegardner had a top ten finish, crossing the line in 8th place with a time of 19:46. Karli Miller finished in 28th place (21:08). Rounding out the scoring for the Lady Braves was Haley Wimmer (49th, 21:57), Bailey Hays (52nd, 22:04), and Haley Salinas (59th, 22:23). Abby Bourne (126th, 25:41) and Betsy Powell (136th, 26:04) also ran in the AA race. In the reserve race Jeana Friedersdorf (158th, 25:11), and Emily Rich (325th, 28:41) also competed.
The Lady Braves will race again Tuesday in the inaugural Apache Invitational, held at Wabash City Park.
