Meet Recap

The Lady Braves finished in third place at the Maconaquah Invitational on Saturday, falling to champion Twin Lakes and runner-up Hamilton Heights while defeating nine other teams. Madison Winegardner led the Braves, finishing in 3rd place overall with a time of 19:46. Freshman Karli MIller set a new personal record, completing her home course in 20:51 and earning a medal by finishing in twelfth place overall. Rounding out the scoring for the Lady Braves were senior Haley Wimmer (25th, 21:50), junior Bailey Hays (28th, 21:57), and freshman Haley Salinas (30th, 22:15). Senior Abby Bourne (67th, 24:19), junior Jeana Friedersdorf (70th, 24:37), and Senior Betsy Powell (77th, 25:29) also ran well.
Maconaquah competes next at the 50th annual New Prairie Invitaional on Saturday,
