Over the course of this summer, the team played in 33 games in June and were able to compete in and with several strong opponents. Some of these opponents were conference, sectional, local, and distant teams including Northfield, Wabash, Peru, Cass, Manchester, Eastern, Taylor, Western, Kokomo, Pioneer, Frankfort, Lafayette Jefferson, Fountain Central, Tipton, Washington Township, and Benton Central. The Braves hosted their inaugural shootout over two days and participated in two leagues. It was a great opportunity for the girls to play a lot of basketball together verse quality opponents and gain vast experience that will hopefully carry over into this upcoming season. They have made great strides and we are excited to start the next journey come Oct 16th at 12:21 am at our Midnight Madness practice. Here recently the girls have been participating in open gyms on Tuesdays and Thursdays in July to compete against one another and hone in on their skills and program fundamentals.
