Amid less than optimal weather conditions the Braves were able to seize another win this season. It all came down to the final race of the night to decide the winner of the meet with the Braves prevailing in the end. This was our last dual meet and we did our last bit of experimentation before conference to see what events best suit our athletes and team going into the last 3 guaranteed meets of the season. We are extremely excited about the growth in our athletes, how far they have come, and where they could potentially be in two weeks. We are doing what we can to give each athlete their best opportunity to be successful and have their best performance at the end of the season. We won every relay and swept the 800m run. The 4×800 team set the stage as usual for the win with team members Chance Hagan, Jordan Edgington, Josh Edgington, and Tyler Dietzel running well. Team members winning on the 4×100 team were Josh Edgington, Gemini Williams, Slate Boggs, and Christian Frakes. The 4×400 team solidifying the win was made up of Chance Hagan, Josh Edgington, Linden Brown, and Tyler Dietzel. Dietzel also came up with the victory in the 800m run followed by teammates Chance Hagan and Adam Rood. Other individual winners on the night were Christian Frakes winning the Long Jump followed by Gemini Williams, Dalton Outlaw winning the Pole Vault with Gemini Williams coming in third, Josh Edgington winning the 300 Hurdles followed closely by Slate Boggs, Jordan Edgington coming in second in the 3200m run with Jacob Edwards finishing third, Paxton Kintner placing second in the discus with a PR after only his second time throwing, Christian Frakes and Gemini Williams coming in second and third respectively in the 100m Dash, Zach Alvarado scoring his first varsity points in the 1600 and finishing second with Josh Miller right behind, Shane Miller earning third in the 400m Dash, Jacob Shaffer placing second in the Shot Put, and Christian Frakes finishing second in the 200m Dash. The Braves host the Mac Invite on Thursday.
