The Braves were able to secure their first win of the season. We still haven’t had a full lineup and had kids in multiple, different, and first time events but they were able to excel. I am proud of the work they have put in and what they have accomplished so far this short season already. We are going to keep working and pushing ourselves and one another to the limit and achieve the best results we can. The Braves swept the relays and the 800m run. 4×800 members were Tyler Dietzel, Chance Hagan, Linden Brown, and Jordan Edginton. These young men also made up the 4×400 team which took first. Runners sweeping the 800m in order of placing were Tyler Dietzel, Jordan Edgington, Jacob Edwards, and Sam Bourne. The 4×100 team took first and was comprised of Christian Frakes, Slate Boggs, Gemini Williams, and Josh Edgington. Gemini Williams also finished first in the long jump, second in the pole vault, and third in the high jump. Christian Frakes took first in the 100m dash and third in the long jump and 200 m dash.
